Wow! I am so glad they loved and are grateful for the beautiful work and eye of Nate and Jeremiah! Everything was so clean and so beautiful. Such a big difference from their dark wood paneled living room area. This is bright, fresh, inspiring, energetic and clean. Nate and Jeremiah are the best on the globe! There are a handful of other great interior designers -- but Nate and Jeremiah are the very best that there is and they have such a beautiful family! They are also so gracious, kind, and always bring beauty wherever they go. So good!

The thing that drives me a bit nuts about N&J is how they emphasize so often hoe tight the budget is, how they don't have enough $$ to do everything they want but then go ahead and make choices like custom painted cabinets or spend 8k on a small tiled wall in a bathroom. They could stretch the money sooo much further if they made compromises. And not even major compromises that would cheapen the look or functionality. Just slightly less custom choices.
@Mistersamuel2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. the counter did not need to be soap stone and hardwood floors could have been a different material. That alone could save 10-15K more than enough to do a simple bedroom.
@skaterboy-cz9wj2 жыл бұрын
@@Mistersamuel I agree and the sink honestly you could save $2000 with a nice stainless steel farmhouse style sink or double undermount (saw a nice one at costc for under 225 dollars that copper sink ws not great.

i hate to say it, but their prices r exuberant and way off. they go for the most expensive (and not always best) materials. 109k IS a very ample budget to create many structural needed changes. the kitchen is stunning, i agree but if u dont have the budget-u just dont have the budget. there is definitely a stunning way to do counter top for 1/2 of this ridiculous price.

@nicolesapphire36963 жыл бұрын
Nate: what’s with the dolls? Well based on her jewelry: crystals and prayer bead bracelet indicate interest in alternative spirituality so good chance those dolls are poppets, folk magic. She might not or might not be practicing some form or folk magic (Wicca, voodoo, etc) but might just have an interest in the lore and could just be displaying them as art.

Designing is a whole lot of choices. If WE were all so good at making those choices, our homes would all be beautiful, would flow and live really well. Yet, they don't. Because WE are not designers.

I think the kitchen should have stayed where it was so the dining room would be next to it. This way you have to bring all your dishes and food all the way through the living room. I like the design but the layout doesn't make sense.

The kitchen is great, except for those light fixtures. They are oversized, look like they belong outside, and are an overdone trend. In a few years they’re going to be wondering what they were thinking. Living room is nice, but it’s yet another beige room. I can’t decide if it’s that they don’t like color or if they’re afraid of it.
