This house is stunning. Love how all the black/white/grey ties in together through out the entire house. And the new kitchen, perfection! Heather and Rejoy did an amazing job. Now come do my tiny house please. LOL

There was originally a clawfoot tub in the master bath? Why remove it? Reglaze and spiff it up so it can be used. The tub would look so appropriate for the house. This house also had hardwood floors. Why not refinish it? These remodels in Southern California are so disappointing to me because they devoid these homes of all their historical features.

The re-configuration of the layout is really good, but the fact that they took out ALL of the original character sucks. I'm totally fine with modernizing, but it is obviously a tudor home on the outside, and they should have kept some of its charm on the inside as well. And they shouldn't have painted the exterior grey, it just doesn't look right.

The caulking and the grouting in the bathrooms is very sloppy. That makes me wonder where else they cut corners. Tbh. I liked the old bathroom a lot it only needed an upgrade. The new one does not look bad per se, but it is so generic.

The outside has lost most of its charm with the loss of the trees and the lighter colour. Now it's dun. And the interior - black, white, grey, tiled splashback, handles on drawers and cupboards, ... it's all so samey. I hope these are old videos and they are doing something a bit different now.

I love Tudors...Great Remodel but it was a miss in the Ensuite that you didn't Refinish and use the Huge Original Antique Clawfoot Tub...to walk into that Room and have had a White Tub on Black Tile...BOOM! 🎉

Is it that the cost of stuff has significantly inflated or is heather just more expensive, Tareks flips used to be around 60k-100k max, and it would look similar to this almost 200k flip, i have noticed they no longer do 70k reno budget, it's always over the top

To me, the outside color is wrong for this style of house. They took all the character out of this house. All her designs remind me of the late 80s bedrooms with the shiny black furniture and gold handles and outlining. It was supposed to look expensive but it just looks cheap. Best part about this remodel were the beams. Also, Heather's voice is like nails on a chalkboard. It's not "cuuute". 🤮

I feel like a lot of the tiles shown on these HGTV shows is so simple and plain. I would pick something exquisite and colorful, like from Puebla, Mexico. Edit: I hadn't gotten to the tile installed when I commented, but this one isn't bad. I could live with that.

really disapointed. these beams are a total eyesore - way too big, fat, overproportionate to the whole room. before they were much better. the case opening? also the prior version way more elegant and within keeping the original, architectural style. the overall impression is cheap and doesn't justify the renovation budget. 👎👎👎

Personal Opinion: Love the exterior paint. I like that they opened up the kitchen and the dining area but the colour for me is too boring and idk feels a little claustrophobic even though it's open. Wasn't properly accessorized also. The house is beautiful though but not their taste.

Heather should hire a designer, the El Mousa flip I watched so far have terrible interior design. I still can remember the small cabin she design, such a small space with busy wallpaper and dark green paint, make the cabin look even smaller.
