I do all the time at my house. It depends on the neighborhood but my neighborhood everyone hangs out front. People rarely use their backyards. Everyone is friends

I used to. Never lived in a wannabe neighborhood until the trees were fully mature, shrubs & fences all added... We weren't in anyone's face. Kept it small and without tons of noise. People used to actually sit on their front porch, spent hours there... The whole family, neighborhood kids too.

I hope there is some kind of lock on the fire fixture, because anyone (especially kids) can come by and turn that on whenever they want. It's a fire hazard if not properly protected. Very risky to have it in the front yard for anyone to freely access.

Love the master suite and the open plan kitchen/dining, and addition of the pantry and extra study space. Don’t like the green cabinets or new kitchen floor. And I really dislike the changes to the front yard. I would never be able to relax out there. There’s no privacy and no shade from the sun or wind…it’s silly. but this is not my house. If they love it, that’s what matters.

I dislike the kitchen flooring immensely...the previous tile was superior quality and design. The green cupboards will appear dated tomorrow. The homeowner should have leaned into the designer's insight more. They have tremendous skill and vision and I think they were reigned in by owner's small vision and fear...ultimatley, the homeowners missed out.

The homeowner said she didn't choose the green; the designers did. I personally don't care for the house all that much. It's a little busy, with too many things going on.

Green cabinets and terracotta floor? Looks like something from the 70's. The old floors were better looking and quality. Cabinets are nice but color is horrendous. That's going to date the home and if/when they sell they're going to have a hard time because of the kitchen. The pantry leading to a pantry? You can't even get in unless you move sideways

I'm only part way through, but did anyone else find the grey tile an odd choice for the exterior entry? There was no other grey anywhere out there. The house is black and white with stained wood and stone accents. Why grey?? I've never seen this show, but after seeing the changes, I won't be watching it. There were too many strange choices - the grey tile, the mismatched stain colors throughout, the kitchen cabinet color, the bedroom facing the street, etc. Sorry, not a fan.

? If parent maintains control and dedicates it like the real job it is, the kids will receive a far better education. They won't get shot at school either. Maybe even learn lost skills to be self sustaining and the skills modern employment will be needing. Public education couldn't have done much worse for all the time they've taken.
