This is my least favorite reno they've ever done, but the homeowners loved it. That's all that matters. I don't care for the exterior colors, the living room wall color, the open shelving in the kitchen, the blue cabinets... The deck is fabulous though. But their reactions said it all. Some people cry when they're overcome with emotion and some people laugh. The husband does both. Lol. What a cute couple. No doubt they will enjoy that home. 💙

The kitchen looks like a Southwest scene where the floating shelves are the clouds, the floor is the desert, and the blue cabinets are a Pueblo style home that wraps around. Very nice.

By far the best HGTV show. The only one with real artists who have a huge respect for the character of the house and its history. They see value where it is. It feels warm and lived in and not just a picture in a magasine.

What I love is your not afraid to go for colour. Over here in the UK bold colours are frowned upon. Everything has to be neutral. I do not agree with it but believe me the average house will have the white kitchen the white bathroom the white walls and ceilings. In some cases it looks like a room in the hospital. If you wear beige your more likely to blend into the background. Correctly chosen colours do not have to be daunting or devalue the house but they do. I love that kitchen . I don't like the no fences between houses though. That is just something I grew up with and if you have a neighbour from hell those fences are important.

Probably because nobody wants to type out G-D'a name, in vain, every time it was said in this video. And for any haters, atheists or Karen's that want to respond-you want change my mind. If we all treat everyone of different races, IQ's, physical and mental abilities with respect, then please add that real Christians and especially southern American Christian's are very offended when people use Gods name in this manner. The owners love their house, but there's no guarantee they'll stay in it forever. It's a strange hodge-podge of traditional, Craftsman and Southwestern styles that will probably make it harder to sell. They could have gotten the Southwestern style elements they like by using easy to change upholstery, curtain and throw pillow fabrics. The interior would have been more universal this way. The cactus, cow skull and wagon wheel tile in the dominant spot on the fireplace surround would have been a huge turn-off for me. It'd be hard to chip it out without damaging the surrounding tile. I usually love Erin and Ben's homes, but I have to give this one a C- grade.

The commandment is about being a hypocrite and not living your living in line with god. Unfortunately, it applies to almost every human on this planet. Most people put themselves first, not god. If you judge others you are not honoring god. By judgement I mean judging what is none of your business. We always need to judge what keeps us safe and who we want in our personal lives. You don’t get to judge your neighbor, coworker, politician, celebrity etc..for something that has nothing to do with you. You can not see all the parts of the puzzle. God told you to live and forgive everybody, living in vain is not practicing this. Now go practice.
