The 66 or 68 versions of this boat I believe holds the cat speed record. They have a new 80 something version coming out that I am sure will be faster.

@@Andy-99. Technically yes, but well done Carbon composites have a relatively small fraction of plastic. To answer your question, people use plastic composites for boats because its durable, strong and light, or can be if done properly,. Light weight makes higher performance.
