Why did you cover the bowls? Made such a trouble for them.

It's a long story... - Originally, it was to keep the Japanese marten from eating food in the middle of the night. It was effective last season, but this season it was easily broken. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5XdfJR9rLqnja8 - It is also to prevent finches(Hawfinches and Oriental Greenfinches etc) from occupying and eating all seeds. If the gap of the small plate or bowl is small, they can't eat them all. Then the smart clever tits, like this Willow tit, tilt the plate or bowl and can eat leftover seeds. - I think there is the idea to put out a lot of seeds, like the live videos on other channels. However, I believe that not putting out seeds in large quantities has less impact on the natural world and birds, and I think it is more desirable. Because when there is enough food in nature, I want them to eat that and they should do. It also helps me to have less money to feed them... - But by doing so, I could easily understand the characteristics of these wildbirds. And I like observe these characteristic wildbirds. These are the reason why I cover the plates and bowls.
