Mezomel will probably sneak into a few live matches for me. See how she does, and go from there. She does work better for sure in classic/tag when I need her to put down the monkey man. Will see her more in siege as well.

Aphidus second form synergetic stun loop with his passive is EXTREMELY underrated I shut down an entire team with the stun passive alone in live arena. People are seriously to focus on the AOE stun and not enough on the 40% stun passive. Also his alt forms a1 actually hits REALLY hard Right now treat alt form as Arena form and base form as PVE.

@@treygraphicsfte6747 obviously it's RNG but for endgame arena that's a sure fire way for him to spend a large portion of his time as a sheep. His alternate form is wave control which imo is too niche for a mythical.

I would say second form a2 & a3 lack synergy, also the a2 is still weak. Lady mik brings far more to the table in arena, then there is armanz .... His A1 is hot hot trash, no one is building a team around a sporadic acc increase. Going to form 1 his passive lets his kit down, all 3 bonuses should increase whenever hp burn is applied or detonated imo. A good team will not get more than 1 or 2 def decreases before a head is down. Ninja's passive damage gains move together From a gear point of view you probably want 9 piece merciless for form1 + 9 piece protection for form 2. Is he better, yes. Is he someone people are hoping to pull.... no, he still lacks end game viability. "good for sin city" is the new "good for faction wars".

I have pulled Frolni 2x and aside from cursed city I do not use him. This buff is not going to change that. Hopefully when they buff Calamitus they do a rework cause he is crap and I have 2 of him guarding the vault.

Before the buff my Michinaki would easily out damage my Aphidus in hydra. Now at least the Aphidus wins out in the damage department pretty easily though he still isn't up there with the likes of the shadowkin mythic and probably still out damaged by Gharol (I dont have her). Aphidus alternate form is really only for wave control which imo isn't a hard spot to fill and too niche for a mythical. That really only leaves difficult cursed city waves where Aphidus is an option to choose as somewhere the second form is viable. This is an endgame perspective obviously.

I personally think they need to rework form 2, the a1 hot trash, a2 imo doesnt synergize with the a3. Form 1, the bonuses need to scale on placement and detonation of hp burn, so he can ramp up damage quicker and apply enough of the def reduction for it to be useful. I agree with your comment that he is too niche, also hate the "good for sin city". you can put rares and epics in stuns sets 🤷‍♂

Frolni's ignores 5% defense for each buff on his A1 needs to be on each of his skills as well as a turn meter steal on the A2.

I have Aphidus and his buff is definitely a BBBUUUFFFFFFF! LOL! Waiting for Hydra to reset and run Mikage, Ninja, Wixwell, Shamael, Uugo, and Michi. I did a pre and post dmg test for him and the buff added almost 12mil to Aphidus' damage

Yeah idk what he is talking about saying that he isn’t a good arena nuker lol his hp burn absolutely blows up stone skin champs I typically do between 180k-300k damage PER TARGET with his A2 and A3 and he isn’t even 300% crit damage lmfao 🤣

@fidelsyrianoudis definitely puts up numbers even without 300% crit dmg! Mines is barely over 200% and he did 20mil alone on a quick run of Brutal hard (I think it was like 100turns)

When did they change the 9 piece slayer set bonus wording? Used to say " 30% chance to repeat aoe damage " Now says "30% chance to deal additional damage based on damage dealt by aoe skills"

the issue with aphidus, he is not a great DPS champ, or a support champs they need to give him another debuff, such as dec speed or block debuff. he is a mythical, he should have a much better kit

saph im getting great results from a 9pc slayer on mezomel, im not even joking. I buff, transform, a2 cycle for form 1 to a2 pick off anyone left.

Aphidus alternate should if no stun placed places decreases speed and is should be a 2 turn provoke

I disagree with like 90% of what you are saying I usually do I hardly ever agree with you but I will say this in my opinion, Aphidus would be SOOOO MUCH better if they just made his form 1 his alternate and his alternate his form 1 because what ends up happening unfortunately is his first form gets locked out and then u r just absolutely screwed because you didn’t build him with enough accuracy to make use of his alternate form and so it’s basically useless they need to also add a mechanic like with Androc and Kryxia ect
