keep practicing + focus on accuracy before speed then naturally you will be able to just burst a string of words quickly if you get what i mean

Xianyu has lots of cheap hhkbs and realforce 87us for sale if you've access to a middleman/forwarding service, or just look on mechmarket or smth I suppose. For modding, I followed @manofinterests' hhkb modding guide which should also apply for any similar EC board.
