*Hon'ble @CMOfficeAssam, this year, many meritorious students who scored 1st division in HS and are preparing for JEE/NEET through coaching-either in Assam or outside-are unjustly excluded from the Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme. Last year, even students in coaching programs were eligible for the scheme if they met the merit criteria. Why this sudden change? These students, working hard for their future, deserve equal recognition and support. According to the Pragyan bharti scheme, this scooty scheme is an award for scoring 75%+ and 60%+ in hs exam for boys and girls respectively. I don't know why we, the eligible students, are not getting the award just because we took a drop for an entrance exam or took admission in colleges outside Assam. It's really a funny and an immature decision.
