I’ve been fortunate to cross paths with you working in the industry & even in that short amount of time, you can tell to know you is to know safety & love! Thank you for such a honest & vulnerable conversation we are all very much needing as the world is shifting! Elle, I am so happy to see you out in the world being in conversation with someone who SEES you! Cheers to this new beginning Scottie!

This is so on time on time. I think this is the part of being a creative that can’t be fully grasped by folks who aren’t driven or haven’t been driven by ideas and the expression of self. What makes us unique often becomes the product in a way that feels like it’s no longer ours anymore. It’s about the next thing being better than the last thing or just having a next thing period. I’ve been having this conversation with myself about what would happen if I stopped trying to commodify my passion into a recognizable skill or product. It’s hard. But it’s been worth it so far. Feeling those moments of joy or excitement about what I’m working on knowing that it isn’t for everyone else to see and witness. It’s just because I like doing it. Been working on that heavy this year.

Love her new song Fallin Up and her last album Ellevation is so good too! I really hope that she’s able to make some kinda come back because her originality deserves to be heard and seen! Nobody has the Elle Varner sound, she’s so needed. 🫶🏾✨

I’m hopping on the Scottie train every single time!! Ever since Black Girl Podcast, I’ve seen myself in her and it’s like we’re the same person in so many ways. I have released so many unrealistic expectations that i have placed on myself and anyone who enters my life and it’s been so freeing and refreshing because of her being so open and authentic and vulnerable. ELLE?!?! Omg I’m in such awe of her realness and her being SO down to earth and relatable. I definitely got teary eyed this episode and i look forward to many more! Congratulations Scottie❤️you’re so amazing!
