Produced by Joe Ortiz & Pauly Ortiz (me and my wife). All instruments and backing vocals by me and Pauly as well. Thanks for posting this Gemann. How I wish we had mixed just the backing tracks although Pauly and I can reproduce this in our studios today anyways! Glad that everyone is enjoying this video. Well kids, a little Gee man history. He won an international Michael Jackson lookalike contest during his heyday. He was a national dance champion. He was followed by Adjetey Sowah and I believe Slim Buster. Reggie Rockstone was also popular at the time. Those were the days of great DJs like Willie Chii, Harry and many others. Black Caesars and Sparks Center were the places for the Ghana version of Soul Train. Roy Cee I believe won the roller skating dance competition the year before Nana Agyeman (Gee man).

I’ve always said this the Nigerians we see today have never been good music wise than we way back, even look at the time this song was composed, still feels like it was just yesterday. Myself and a lot of people born around the 90’s all jam to this song without knowing it’s even a Ghanaian that sung it. Yes indeed u can feel the Michael Jackson inspiration and vibes buh u can’t take away the quality and delivery from him. You can line up how many Nigerians musicians back then u can and not a single one of them have this much class and quality. Buh they will tell u afrobeat was originated by Fella 😂 a person who in his own words came to Ghana at one point to draw inspiration from hilife.

Michael Jackson did inspire a lot of people and I am one of those. As a youngkid I wanted to be a dancer and musciian like him. Even though I could dance I found myself in the world of science and IT more than entertainment. But even in that world I was always inspired to make products that awed and inspired. And now as I have started working on video animations I am still inspired by him. What most people will miss when it comes to MJ beyond all that popularity was a man that put a lot of seriousness and dedication into his work. He was a true legend that sang with true passion and put excellence in his music videos. He will be forever missed
