yeah this would work really well, the robotnik-sounding notes at 0:51 makes it feel like your walking through what was supposed to be your own level, but corrupted by sonic.exe. now you have to dodge and hide from your own traps that were supposed to stop sonic. Basically the whole game getting flipped on robotnik when he sees the dead bodies of tails and knuckles and realises that hes not the enemy anymore

@@xXx56-r3h Me and a friend was infact gonna make a sonic.exe project like this. Just that we never got around to it. I had a cool concept that would allow for normal level play while incorporating the horror elements. While yeah, spirits of hell does in fact do that it still feels less like a traditional sonic game and more horror story themed. Basically a lot of the levels in that game you really cannot go too fast or you'll suffer the consequences for it.
