Awesome VID!!!! I just got some extra money and was looking again at the Saratoga vest which is costly by itself and have already been a huge fan of ToughBuilt and have 3 belts, probably 8 pouches and really didn't like the idea of switching completely to Atlas46. Your video really showed me I can do both!!! Thank you

I'm impressed brother 😀 so many actors with great lines in that movie. But seriously why so serious... Atlas46.com has a 46 day trial and return if you don't like it. It's a mesh material that actually let's air in. The journeyman mesh vest is a more open option. That's what I was using before. It's winter time in socal so it's not a problem right now. Summer time will be interesting 🤔

Any experience using this rig with a safety harness on a scissor lift? Thanks for sharing!

I have a safety harness and I haven't tried it out with the Saratoga vest yet. Atlas 46 does have a version that works with a harness specifically. Atlas46.com

Hey bro, my current project will require me to work on lots of low volt terminal blocks. Do you have any screwdriver recommendations? Preferably something I can get at Home Depot. Amazon will work too.

Wiha Slotted And Phillips Insulated Screwdriver Set www.amazon.com/dp/B00PIB9MC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_EYFcCbCFVD9FG This is a great driver set. Wiha has a driver just for terminals it's called a xeno it's basically a slotted and a Phillips combination in one driver. Sparky channel has a good video explaining it. Xeno #1 #2 is good. So the first link is a great price that gets you the basic common drivers. I will add the other for the xeno terminal ones. For me I have a lot of wiha drivers and it's tough last long and kicks ass. Let me know if that works. Xeno makes the best contact with terminals screws.

I picked up the wiha xeno #2 off amazon. Messaged the seller if they could kindly expedite because I'll need it next week and, surprisingly, they shipped it out the very next day. It wasn't even Prime.

I'm curious. Do you organize your tool bags based on the scope of work for that day? My company has me doing data, telephone, camera, access control and everything in between. All I have to work with at the moment is a huge husky work bag, small parts bin and the milwaukee bag that came with my 12v set.
@lowvoltagedude78376 жыл бұрын
@@peglegtheredI have a bunch of videos that show my set up pretty good. My ds450 is the main construction box. My Telecom data tools I carry in the husky cantilever box and I have 2 service bags inside the husky a veto MB bag for connectors and termination tools and my atlas 46 bag for my testers. It sounds like you do a lot of stuff like me that's cool. Do you do fiber optic stuff? I do have a fluke pouch that I clip on 90 % of the time it's my main everday carry for low votage work kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5O0e6idpsx0h9U

How do you like it after some use? Does it make you warmer with all that coverage? I'm considering buying a setup like this
@lowvoltagedude78375 жыл бұрын
I'm honestly really happy it's makes you more productive having the magnet panels it holds screws hardware small tools. with the magnets added on it's amazing. The Saratoga vest hasn't been a issue so far. Had it on during some sunny days on the roof and I've had it on during cold days feels great but with that being said I've only had it during the winter months in California during a real cali hot day I'll find out lol. It is mostly a mesh material so it does breathe very well . I had the other Atlas 46 chest rig and I really like that one and may switch back to that if the hot weather is too much. The Saratoga vest is a lot bulkier and rigid so with bags on and everything it does take up a lot of room in your vehicle. The chest rig Atlas 46 vest I had before collapsed pretty good and stores very well.it has cargo pockets that lets you put tools in it and pockets behind there so you can slide hand tools it has two clip-on areas on the side and one on the chest and is an open back I wore this during some really hot days in California and it felt good the sweat and the mash felt like it was cooling me off. If you're looking at Atlas 46 stuff I spent hours and days looking at their website deciding on what to buy. Good luck buddy you can check out some other videos and I do have one with my old chest rig. Atlas 46 does have a 46 day return policy so you can't lose that way have a good one buddy
