100% agree with your interpretation. I think he just meant that Elysia that we all knew in HI3 will never appear again for that universe. Doesn't mean that other alternate versions of Elysia in other universes don't exist. That'd be close to impossible in most cases when bringing up the multi-verse unless it's cosmic beings or god level imo.

The feeling of nostalgia and remembrance is indescribable. Those who don't have time to play HI3 but want to understand why HI3 players of HSR community are so emotional, they can watch streams of HI3 players on YT on each chapter of Part 1 to get the context. This is same feeling of what HI3 players felt when seeing Himeko and Raiden B. Mei (Acheron) in HSR, but this time, it is for 13 characters with a tragic ending. So x13 times the emotions / trauma. My guess on the order of appearance: 1. golden threads, angelic harmony - Eden who is also known for Gold and as The Angel of Strings 2. 3 faced messenger - chibi Vill-V with her 3 main personalities 3. Anexagoras with knowledge and eye-patch and sitting underneath a tree - Su 4. pink girl sleeping in a tree and is called the priest that sever dawn from dusk - Sakura/Rin with her pink hair, samsara occupation as a priestess, and the technique of severing space 5. gauntlet on his hand and a beast within - thought it is Hua/Kalpas but now I think he is adult Kosma 6. Pardo 7. butterfly wing, butterfly earring, "right to embrace", and the power to command "frozen death to sleep peacefully" - Aponia 7.5 Ocean lady - looks like Hua, with her iconic long ponytail and wearing something resembles closely to Azure Empyrea battle dress. 8. Kevin The shadowy portraits contains 3 females and 1 male. My guess in order: Hua - hair looks similar Mobius - one of her usual posture is to hold her head with her palm Kalpas - masked male with a demon hand holding a flame Griseo - young adult version with that iconic short hair cut and with a blue background no less Last one is Elysia, our pink jesus.

I'm also excited for Fugue. I've not played HI3, but I really am so happy for you being able to see your favorites from HI3 being part of HSR although we don't know how much identically they will be a part of it. But really must be so exciting for you! And all the QoL they continue to add to this game is amazing!

There was a quote by the developers back shortly after release to the effect of, 'HSR is an alternate universe where the characters from HI3 can live their best lives'. In that regard, yes, there could totally be another Elysia. Just as there is another Himeko, thriving instead of dying. And another Otto. And another Raiden Mei. And the self-same Welt.

My crackpot theory is HoC somehow survived with/without Elysia remnants using a STELLARON and is constantly replaying looping their story on a planet scale, forcing version of the flame chasers to keep fighting, potentially for a different end. OR they go demon lord route and Kevin(partially remembers his original) is trying to destroy the world to free everyone from the loop, but TB doesn’t understand it. The stupid eye motifs make me dread everything.

With fugue they are giving us a solution before the problem of HMC or RMC. While not all 3.x characters will be remerance I think it's a focus. Then there is the fate Collab. To me this feels like Ruan mei 1.6 all over again. So many good designs characters so little resources

I think when Kevin said there would never be another Elysia, he meant for Earth, for humanity. Elysia did so much for everyone of Earth, and she sacrificed all she had so Herrschers would have their own free will. I feel like this Elysia has nothing to do with Earth at all. … but… Elysia was literally a miracle created by the Cocoon of Finality… so other versions of her probably shouldn’t exist, with how she’s tied so close to what Honkai is. Either way, I’m very interested in what they’re bringing to us here!

Aglaea even said Flame Chase in trailer. In description it says Heroes who Chase the Flames. Aglaea is Aponia. Eden is the girl who was engulfed in waves of water. Vill-V is the twins Tribbie. Because Vill-V was said to have many faces. Kalpas is the man who was in war battlefield with the tiger Mydei. Su was the eyepatch guy Anaxa. Yae is the girl with pink hair who was in the trees Hyacine. Kosma was the man in the desert. Mobius was either not shown and she was in silhouette the blue one, or it’s Castorice. Griseo is either the last silhouette shown, or the girl in the shadow shown in scene with pillars. Cipher is Pardofelis. And Fu Hua was in the silhouette the red one. That’s 13

Even though I've never played HI3rd you can't just show me a group of greek gods and goddesses and expect me, a minnow, to not have an existential crisis on how to save my resources. (Aglaea and Castorice are the two I most want from what was shown, how crazy would it be if Castorice is a remembrance unit and that shadow-like dragon is her servant. I feel like remembrance characters will be their way of giving us non-human units to fight with without having to program them into the overworld. Give them human counterparts to act in the overworld in their place. I'd also like the cat girl as long as I can confidently get the two previously mentioned.) Even if I get Fugue I'd still have an incomplete break team without Ruan Mei.. totally me not coping at all. lol

You should if you want to feel more attached and get the references. Also it's a very good story. Also gacha is completely unnecessary is HI3 because the game will just give you the characters as trail for the story after chapter 5 or so. Also pay attention to the story because everything becomes important at somepoint. Yes the first 6-7 chapters(about 1 week of casual play) can be a bit rough because those chapters are very old but don't worry it'll be fine. And it'll be very important in HSR when Welt actually becomes important. Also have tissues with you after chapter 7 you will need them. Also a lot of Chapters have extra comics which gives a lot of important info. There should be button for them in every chapter that have them. I believe the wiki has all the story things in a read order if you want more info.

The worst thing about all these HI3 connections is that these new versions will never be popular on their own and the fans become unbearable. The way some of the fans act actually makes me never want to continue trying to get through HI3 especially when the early story that I’ve experienced so far is told so poorly. And now I’ve got to hear people constantly saying Kevin (whoever the hell he is) and all the others. Sorry to be so negative here but it will become impossible to talk about these new characters without someone going “well in HI3 this was actually this other character and blah blah blah” similar to Acheron. HI3 characters only cared about Acheron because of Raiden Mei and hag will repeat here.

Trust me, Acheron is def popular in her own right. She gained traction because of the connection and all, but shes like a completely different person. Her character stands on its own after experiencing Penacony. Just like all the characters thus far that are separate versions. I wouldn't worry too much about the new characters being popular for who they are.

What do you mean "I dont know how theyre going to go about this". HSR universe isn't HI3 universe, but they are linked by the Imaginary Tree. The people in HI3 exist in HSR, different dimensions. The story isn't linked, but it is possible to get so advanced you can cross over the barrier of the different dimensions I.E Welt from HI3 is the same one in HSR.

I know this. When I said I don’t know how they’re going to go about this is mainly story related. Mainly as in how they’ll connect this and make these characters stand on their own similar to how they went about with the Acheron story since these aren’t expies and variants exist. (Welt obviously the exception here since it’s actually him) So either similar to the Flame Chaser story but with connections and similarities or they throw something at else entirely at us. Again, who knows since we have to wait for it to actually drop and I’m excited to see. Keep in mind as well, I was freaking out the entire time watching this live for the first time. Safe to say I was not okay and my mind is still processing all of it lol 😅
