@@HIAHomelessInAmerica Hello, HIA. I recently subscribed to your channel and do tell others. I must say here,as one who observed homeless people for years, and has been there myself ( room mate wanted to live free in Grandma's basement,and left without paying his share of rent)

@@HIAHomelessInAmerica and that's how I wound up homeless, though no tents or street sleeping for me,and I kept to myself, used a storage unit to keep my things safe,which I recommend. Because of my exam and what I see, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to lobby these corrupt politicians and oligarchs in charge to invest in society by not stealing/ diverting the billions for housing programs anymore, but beginning the massive building campaign instead. Accountability and transparency must be enforced through law enforcement agencies, by doing auditing of these agencies and non-profits involved with homeless citizens !! We have reached critical mass.

There's no one type of homeless person,and many seniors and disabled people are out there in these camps living in quiet desperation,and are in danger from those who ARE criminals ! The seniors and disabled are the fastest growing demographic for becoming homeless,and the most vulnerable. Affordable housing being built in a massive scale is the only way to end this crisis. There's already the money for this, heaped up by corrupt politicians for their own use !! Show anger at those people at City Council meetings,let them know they'll be investigated and arrested after being audited for theft !

@Max Power Best thing is affordable housing, not having to camp ! Obviously, they don't know about how to start,maintain,and put out a campfire properly ! The homeless people out there need affordable housing ! They don't know how to create and put out their cooking fires. No woodland skills,most of them. Please lobby the politicians and officials in your area to create affordable housing on a large scale. Lots is apartments and houses when I was young! This is a strange phenomenon, only in the last 40 years.

If you’re homeless come to Venice Beach come to Seaside California come to Carmel by the Sea come to Pacific Grove and the best place is Big Sur California you can camp anywhere on the 40 mile highway in Big Sur they feed you seven days a week and the weather is beautiful
