It's been a little while again, I've not spent too much time with my synths recently. I'm sorry to have been a bit behind on comments and posting, nearly caught up with everything now =D
And in the past few weeks, we've smashed past 600 subscribers to over 630!! I'm continually blown away every time we pass a new milestone, I'll post properly on the community tab, but a massive thank you here to everyone for supporting the channel as well =D =D =D
This patch went in a slightly weirder direction than usual with the FM'd filter pings. I spent most of the time patching with the filter pinging in time with Beehive and tuned so it just made it sound fuller. But it was one of those happy accidents when I just tried out another LFO into the frequency. Makes for a bit of a strange soundscape but I'm quite happy with it xD
Thank you so much for watching =D =D Hope you enjoyed!
Patch Notes:
Modules:
Behringer CP1-a power supply
Micro Ornament and Crime (Benisphere firmware)
After Later Audio Baker (MI Peaks clone)
After Later Audio Beehive (MI Plaits clone)
ALM Tangle Quartet
Tenderfoot Electronics SVF-1 filter
Instruo Ochd
4ms Listen 4
O_C is running 2 instances of TB-3PO, providing pitch CV to both Beehive and SVF-1. The gates from each are sent to Tangle Quartet and Baker (using stack cables). Triggers from both apps are mixed by tangle quartet and trigger Beehive.
Baker is in pulse randomiser mode, with a very low probability. Gates from each TB-3PO are triggering each channel and being used to regen their respective TB-3PO (which rolls a new random seed for the sequence).
Beehive is in mini rings (inharmonic strings) mode. The normal output is sent to channel 1 of Listen 4, and the aux output (excitor noise) is pinging SVF-1. There's a small amount of pitch modulation to cause a slight tremolo effect. Both Timbre and Morph are modulated by Ochd.
SVF-1 is being pinged by Beehive and has pitch info from TB-3PO to move the base around. But it's also being frequency modulated by Ochd to create the warbly sound effect. The ouput goes through Tangle Quartet then to Listen 4.
Tangle Quartet is mixing triggers from TB-3PO; Attenuating the LFO doing FM on beehive which is further modulated by another LFO to fade the modulation in and out; and also modulating the level of SVF-1 to blend it in and out of the mix.
Ochd is responsible for all modulation.
Listen 4 sending to DAW. There are two instances of Valhalla Supermassive running. The first is a delay, set at about 460ms with no diffusion. The 2nd is a massive reverb.
