Good question. Yes, chronic GERD is known to induce stress and anxiety which in turn increases GERD. So it is a vicious cycle. GERD should be managed by life style modification, wt loss, proper food selection , medicines and key hole surgery, if needed.

However, the distressing symptoms of reflux resolves in 95 percent of pts Linx is not very popular in India as of now. More studies are needed to evaluate its efficacy.
