Belong to love
Please don’t bury us unless we’re seeds
Learn to forgive
You know very well it’s not easy
It’s so simple to read without living its meaning
Breathe, slow down, stand for something if not anything
Breathe, slow down, we could get closer without the yearning
Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok
Please believe me when I say
That I know, that I know, we will get over it, only if we wanna
That I know, that I know, we will get over, only if we wanna
Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok
Who are they when they meet?
Stone or lavender
Before the word is ever uttered
Was your leap deeper?
Show her clover and wildflowers when the soul is tired and needing
Do not grieve the idle time
Or all the moments that are ever leaving
Take me far away from myself
Rest, don’t rest like everyone else
I don’t wanna be small, I wanna be full of life
We can weave all things together and be alright
Please believe me when I say
That I know, that I know we will get over only if we wanna
Please believe me when I say
Someday, it’ll be ok

This song is so… cathartic. This track differs from the rest of the album in that there’s no strange effects or heavy layers, it’s just Nai, a Piano, and later some strings. Every other track was superficial, taking us on this wild adventure of different ideas and soundscapes only to show us what this is all really about. It’s like finding a friend, learning everything you thought you could know about them only to discover their deep internal struggles. It makes me cry now, but someday, it will be okay.

Ok I’ll put it out there, I went through a bunch of shit the last couple of months, break up etc. And I almost forgot I pre ordered the vinyl for Mood Valiant. When it came I was in bits, the postman gave me a very concerned look. When this track came on I cried my eyes out, and afterwards I felt like I turned a corner. So thank you, again, Nai and the boys.

In an album full of gems, with their intricate sound, exposing the skill, traits and individual expression of each member of @hiatuskaiyote there’s this pearl so simple and yet so complex, a soothing ballad that feels like Nai wants to heal the cosmos right there from the recording booth or the personal universe that she so kindly, gracefully and freely offers us with her art. Thank you for letting us all into your universe Nai and may it flood the world.

This song is exquisite. Definitely one of the standouts from this collection of music. It plays into the direction and how intimate this song is, but I love how dry and up front Nai's voice is in the mix. It's almost as if she's singing right in front of you.
