I like how the only thing that was worth filming in Hiawassee was the view from the graffitied mountain top. That's pretty much all we've got over here.

It was a tradition that started 30 or 40 years ago! It's called Bell Mountain! They blew it up to get the rocks from it! When they stopped, the road became unusable! The only way up was a Hell of a hike so to let ppl know you were there ppl started spray painting on the rocks! Now of course they redid the road and you can drive right up to it!

It's so depressing to see what has become of this place. This is where my family originated from. It used to be so beautiful back then. Then came the lake...and then came the city slicker liberal punks that completely trashed it. Just look at the spray paint. Absolutely pathetic. So sad to see this.
