I actually loved that you reviewed two different products in a single video. It was like a movie with 2 parallel stories happening at the same time. No boredom, pure fun. Great job!

Many thanks for another excellent review; i feel you are now one of the most eloquent and watchable reviewers on youtube. I'm always interested to hear mention of drive power related the HE-6 as I own an og HE-6 which i now only power on my M17. I would be very interested to hear which of the amps you have reviewed on the less expensive side which partner it well. Many thanks.

Topping A70 PRO would drive them easily from the least expensive ones, although tonality-wise, it's not the best pairing. Aune S17 PRO would be my choice below $1K, it got the power and the right tonality for the HE-6.

If you move around "plugins" audio settings of r4 you will be able to change its sound character

Including the MSEB settings - that can change almost everything about the sound. I, however, described its sound without any enhancements.

Nice Review 👍🏻 I agree with what you say about the FD5. Its clean detailed sound with great bass and emphasis on midrange makes it a great buy. Im comparing jt with Pietus Maximus (Ess) and its a tough run. I feel its has more midrange and Pietus goes slightly deeper in the bass departement by a small margin. Waiting for another power supply to see if will make FD5 even better.

Do you happen to have that device, when you play music, when you play it from the beginning, and then play it from the middle? Some Chinese mp3s, when you play music, from the beginning, when you play it, it breaks in the middle, so there's something that plays.

hello can a lower tier newer DAP reach level of some older higher end DAP? What about R4 vs M8? Did r4 already reach the level of shanling m8? Just from the memory, pls.

Salut Sandu, este vreun motiv pentru care nu ai publicat pe site notele pe diferitele categorii ale calității sunetului cu care ne-ai obișnuit? Pentru mine asta face diferența între canalul tău pe KZbin și celelalte canale care fac review-uri la componente Hi-Fi...

@@scottpeterson2840 Yeah but then again I would get a DAP instead if I needed to move around a lot. It is pretty small still though…and I think it looks pretty cool too.

Sadly, nope. But that is only the AC to DC converter, the rest of the power supply sits in the box below the amp, which regulates the voltage and filters it with high-quality caps. The second stage is more important than the first one.
