Although 24 is already high up in the list, I think it’s still one of the underrated plays that’s not talked about enough for me. That dude is so creative bruh😂. With going against Wemby, knowing that it’s already muscle memory to go for the reverse lay block. And Kyrie heads toward the top of the key for the lay, bc in all honesty WHO would go there… none other than that man Uncle Drew😭.

Ive said it before I'll say it again. Kyrie is the next iteration of Mike. Mike-Kobe-Ky.. its no secret that Kyries OG is Kobe, but watch him shoot off the dribble or on an angle. He looks like Mike, rather he looks like the definition of Mikes shot mechanics. Always squares his shoulders to the basket, hangs in the air to do so, slightly late, slightly high release. Every time I see him shoot, I hear Mike describing his own shot mechanics. Layup package? Almost a spitting image of Mike
@ByronKelly-i3o16 күн бұрын
That's just not true what's so ever. Mike is a two motion jumpshooter whilst Kyrie can do both one motion and two motion. Also Kyrie shoots it out of his palm while Mike has hands like Kawhi Leonard and shoots out of his finger tips with the ball palmed. Mike also has a higher set point than Ky. Mike never really flicked his wrist that hard like Ky either. If you take notice, Kyrie's shot is a lot more softer than both Mike and Kobe's, probably why he is more efficient. But Kyrie is a desciple of Kobe and Mike in terms of old school fundamentals and lay up packages. Pound for pound best 1v1 players ever.
@dontatme__14 күн бұрын
@ByronKelly-i3o there's always that guy with the urge to correct/argue in the comments. Pretty sad. I said he was the next iteration, I didn't say he was Mike. I didn't say he did everything that Mike did. I literally said he looks like the definition of Mikes mechanics as Mike said them himself, which he does. We're ALL aware of Kys physical limitations in comparison to Mike, just like with Kobe, less vertical smaller hands etc.. yet Kobe is undoubtedly 2.0. Ky will tell you himself he's watched and studied endless tapes of Mike and Kobe, and that's why Mike shows up in his game. Also, seeing being a stick in the mud is the thing to do these days, KY isn't more efficient than Mike, hell no one was for 30 years until Jokic came along. But please carry on trying to be hypertechnical
