Some ppl think I'm crazy but I am a manure pumper that puts that on the feld too me I just love working with that stuff because I see so much of it it's like I can read of what's almost what's a good manure and what's a bad manure

You could fill those ponds with cat tails, they love nitrates, then harvest the plants and refine them into bioethanol fuel. The water will be clearer too

Do you put lime or some type of disease control substance in the sand when reapplying?

We haven't had any issues with disease with our sand. We let the sun and rain clean it for us before we reapply.

The sand comes out of the cow beds and gets washed down with the flush water to the sand lane. Then we re-harvest the sand and reuse it when it’s dry
