Hico, Texas - Billy the Kid Museum, Locally Made Chocolates, and The Midland Hotel

We loved visiting the small Texas town of Hico! It was so quaint but had a lot of different shops, restaurants, and dessert places. We loved getting to hear the history of the town in connection to Billy The Kid. The museum was wonderful and very fun to tour.
Wiseman House Chocolates was delicious and really fun to try their locally made gourmet chocolates. We also really enjoyed having sandwiches and ice cream at Eis - we highly recommend that place if you're ever in the area.
We have another Hico video coming where we drive around and show more of the town, houses, and schools- so stay tuned for that. We are so excited to share our experience road tripping to Hico, Texas and hope you enjoy coming along with us.

I live in Ulysses, KS, and because the town was deeply in debt due to a loss in population and corruption the entire town was moved. This happened in 1909. The hotel they moved is now beside our museum. The museum is excellent and well worth the visit and you can tour the hotel, too.

I really enjoyed this small town and it’s history. Alex reads well! I was thinking when Alex read the post of Akan Alford he must have been just about everything in that town. Post Master, Doctor, and a father to 14 children. Man, he was busy! Heck, he had enough kids for a baseball team. I like your room your staying in Hico, I hope you both were comfortable. I loved when you guys went walking around and checking things out. It was very interesting and exciting to see an amazing old town. I have never been to Texas, but have seen it on TV. Thank you for bringing us on your trip what a lovely place to visit yesterday the Windsor to see my husband in a nursing home and we took him out for a drive in Windsor add an ice cream and it was so big I don't think I'll eat for a week that's how the ice cream was really really big what a lovely place it was

Thank you for sharing. I am new to this channel. I live in Canyon, TX, a town in the Texas Panhandle. It is the home of the second largest canyon in the USA. If you ever decide to visit, please don't come in the summer. It gets way hotter down in the canyon than topside. Every year, we have people hospitalized and even die due to the heat down in the canyon. That ant mound looked like fire ants. They are awful, and their bites are very painful.
