Great selection. Viewers should notice when watching a video, is the content provider actually handling the item they are reviewing. Many just use prerecorded clips from the brands website and talk over the video repeating things they've read or heard from other videos. They don't truly know how the watch wears and feels. This was very well presented and these are watches you're clearly handling yourself. Thank you

I literally just ordered a casio duro around the same time this video was uploaded. After looking at new watches for a few months, i decided on the duro for a couple of reasons: 1. Value. 2. I've been wearing g shock watches for as long as can remember, and I wasn't sure if this type of watch would be as comfortable to wear. The kamasu was my next option, but it was basically 3x the price. Depending how I feel about this watch will depend where i go next. A g shock gwg-b1000 would be nice, but thats 10x the price of duro. For me the duro cost 3-4 hours of my wage, a kamasu would 9-10 hrs and the g shock 30hrs at my hourly rate.

Absolutely. so many great offerings from China that are a fraction of the price. 316L, sapphire, nh35 offerings for 70ish euro and San Martin have better finishing then Seikos double their price, I think China is just being ignored by the watch world, agelocer and atelier wen and frankly any Chinese brands would be worth at least 5x more if made in Europe.

I do not recommend everyday beater with mineral crystal. I managed to scratch my Orient dial crystal after couple of days at work. I don't recommend automatic/mechanical movement if you bothered about precise timekeeping. About after a week of wearing auto inaccuracy shows up. Ironically, my cheapest quartz watch are the most precise with falling behind for 1 second in 4 months.

The list is okay, if you want to get a diver with very, very limited features you'll actually use when diving. Instead of the Citizen Dive, an Aqualand should be in place, as it's in the price range and provides a feature a lot of divers actually use: dept gauge (and quite a good one). Perfect companion in case something happens to your dive computer.

Thanks for going through these nice options. It validated my recent acquisition of the Invicta 1954 sub homage as a relatively superior watch when compared to this selection. Love these picks but the problem with the Duro is it’s massive and most people I don’t think can pull it off. The Kamasu’s proportions are also off with it having a 22 mm lug width. I really like both of those watches, but would never be able to wear them.
@tozzifan7 ай бұрын
On my 6.5 inch wrist, the Duro stands out but does not overhang. It's not high or unbalanced, but I avoid wearing it loose. It's a size that fits at my limit. On a nato strap it weights 91g / 3.2 oz. The glass diameter is about 33mm, the dial is a bit smaller. It's not a giant watch, but I would prefer a 42 or 40 size.
