@Duran Clarke Ohhh we’re in NZ. These old number plates is what they used to have before the current ones, it’s kinda rare because most of those cars aren’t on the road anymore. But I’ve seen recently that they’re making them black again.

My little retainer clip tab also broke and my screw was semi seized. I got an 81 22r

Ohhh no way, did this video help to repair it?. I’m thinking about doing a 20/22r hybrid instead of the K24 build.

@@AdamNZ oh yeah I heard putting the 20r head on the 22r block is the way to go because the ports flow better. No I was on a road trip and my headlamp went out about a year ago so I had to do it on the street. But I'd prefer to not have sealed lamps and be able to pop in better bulbs with the right ballast and relay whenever I want. A lot of work to do all that just to change a bulb. You truck looks sick though, my hoods Rusting pretty bad, 98% is surface rust but do you have any recommendations for good rust neutralizing primer I can spray after I sand?

@@civilsocietyprivateinteres1711 yeah that’s the dream there with a better engine, thanks I’m trying to get it looking really dope. Yeah sealed bowls are a thing of the past. I’d buy LED if they were cheap. Ahhh there is some metal conditioners out there for bare metal. I haven’t used any but I know they work well. I’m basically getting all the doors, bonnet and tray all mint so I can take moulds. Not phased if there rusted as long as the outer skin is in perfect condition. I vented my other bonnet but never finished it to take a mould.
