The color of the water at the spring was so pretty. Very nice overlook and cool to see the shell of the stonework still standing.

The water really blew me away, was curious how it would look on film but it portrayed it perfectly. Thanks for checking the video out!

Doesn't seem like the algorithm likes when I travel haha but hey I enjoy making these styles of videos, so many great places throughout this country of ours and I can't wait to share the rest of the trip with everyone!

@ that damn algorithm isn’t my friend at all. I’ll probably never travel abroad so I like to see what’s out there.

I have fond memories of this area of Missouri from one of my early trips across country back in the late 70's. I haven't been back since, but thanks for reminding me of those happy times. 🙂

Missouri is one of those states that you never hear someone say they are going to hike in or explore lol, but after traveling through there I was blown away by all the great looking lakes and parks. Maybe one day ill make it back to that part of the country.

That color of the spring was something else, I wouldn't mind doing a little roadtrip through Missouri and just hike to all the natural springs out there...thanks for stopping by!

I've watched many vids of van lifers on the road and none that I've watched have mentioned this park or the Turkey Run park. Maybe because van lifers tend to need to budget their expenses and avoid State Parks which often have a fee. I don't know about MO or IN. Ohio and PA are free. NY has entrance fee. Id like to visit this one someday. Thanks for highlighting it.

Thanks for the comment! My goal was to head to some "off the beaten path" areas along this trip that not a lot of folks have heard of, or at least back here in PA. Ha Ha Tonka was free to get in and I believe Turkey Run was maybe 8 dollars? Thanks again!
