I played sky for over 2 years, and about a month ago I just decided that I wasn’t happy, forcing myself to go candle running and gifting hearts to moths anymore. But, I had so much fun with this game, even though my first year or so I didn’t even talk to anyone. I love everyone that I played with. I even got to meet some in real life. 2 died from covid, multiple got sick, some used to draw with me, I used to spend hours on calls with them, I even started up a sky news channel. It was great. I loved it. I got all the elder hairs, I got all the items until Prophecy (except paid extras like founders cape and witch hat), and this game’s community was an amazing influence for my art and aesthetic. At one point, one of my friends on Sky even talked me out of sui*de. It’s been ages since I’ve logged on, and I deleted the app, but I love it so much. I recently got back into the community a bit just to talk to old friends on Discord since I was feeling a bit melancholy, and it’s amazing. I love you all, whether you were never in the community, still play the game, don’t play the game anymore but are still in the fandom, are just looking back on this, or whatever whenever how. I’m working on stating my own game, and a Sky is a big influence for me. I love this game and I’ll never forget about it.

been playing a year, all my friends area basically gone, and i stopped candle farming ages ago. I only played for the instruments it had offered, since i had always wanted to play the piano, but now I have one in real life. I have no reason to play this game, I only play in hopes I can talk to my friends again one day, but we probably don't see each other the same anymore, so it is unlikely. 3年くらい前にskyを始めて、美しさに驚いたけど特に感動したのが雨林の景色と音楽でした。眠れない時や悲しい時は雨林の第3エリアの焚き火の横で時間を過ごしてたら割とどうでもよくなります。 しばらくskyから離れていて、先日失恋して眠れない夜が続いていましたが、ふとskyの存在を思い出して久しぶりに焚き火に行ったら気持ちが浄化されてよく眠れました。

@@nanner8584 I actually didn’t see your comment until now. But I’ll tell it. It’s kinda long cuz it’s just engrained in my memory. Was probably traumatized. I was in elementary school and was around 8 years old. I was in band and we went to go see the Nutcracker in downtown. So there’s a lot of tall buildings and a lot of people. Everyone had a buddy. IAnd we all sat together watching the play. Bunch of kids in orange and blue. We only sat through like half of it and then we had to go. I was entranced in the show and didn’t hear until the last second when I was the last one a few feet behind. I did catch up to my buddy. And I was trying to follow her orange shirt and grab her hand but there were so many people pushing and shoving and cutting up the line I was in. And her orange shirt kept getting blocked from my view. Everyone was taller than me and I looked up saw them compared to the buildings and I felt smaller than I already did. And I did find her orange shirt. Orange was good. And I got in line to get on the bus with everyone else. Except when I sat down and began to look around I didn’t see anyone I recognized. Absolutely no one. And I was pretty sure I was on the right bus. But why don’t I see anyone I know. And I was to scared to say anything. I didn’t know who they were either. But the other kids were also wearing orange and blue. That was good. But I was still on the wrong bus so I was still panicking. No one sat by me and all I had was my red lunch kit I still have today. I don’t know exactly where but I still have it. I had no fricken idea what was going to happen. And it scared me to think about it. Looking out the window watching everything go by scared me because what if we went the wrong way. Looking at my lunch kit sacred need because it made think of my mom and if I’d ever see her again. What would happen? What if I was taken? What would I do? Where would I go? Questions I thought of the whole bus ride. It made me really think if anyone would actually care about me. Cuz I had absolutely no friends. None. But we did slowly make our way back to my school. 30 minutes after my actual bus got back. I didn’t know how to feel. I think the experience traumatized me and I was just numb when I got off the bus. And I wasn’t actually sure if my band instructor cared. I don’t know. I think I was to scared. And we went back inside and it was like nothing happened. The other kids were just talking and I just found a chair and sat there waiting for my mom to pick me up. And she did. I didn’t tell her until we got home. She sounded like she care. I couldn’t tell. I never thought about being lost again until I played this game and heard this song in the hidden forest and remembered how big the buildings were like the trees in the game. It’s a calming area but it brings up such a lonely feeling. Being smaller than everyone around you knowing nothing of the world other than what could happen when you’re not with your parents. Being failed and it possibly costing your life and your childish imagination working against you. It was one of the worst times of my life that made me question who would actually be there in my life to help me and contributed to my abandonment issues. Absolutely terrible. but it’s not the worst thing that happened to me but ye. That’s my story

For some reason, this is the most calm music in Sky to me.. the start of Isle Of Dawn for me is creepy, I guess prairie is nice? It just doesn’t have the same feel as this.. valley has the deep sound during the first and second race that makes it sound like ur sentenced to death or something to me 😓 what is there to say about wasteland? There’s NOTHING calming there.. maybe a few things but only stuff like candles and stars, that’s it. Vault? I don’t even know.. that place barely has music, and the music there I’m always distracted to listen too lol

This song makes me feel nostalgic, reminding me of all the memories I have of my friends and family, and my beloved home. In less than two years, I'll be leaving my city for college. My parents will move to another city, and we'll probably never be coming here ever again. We've been living in this city for the past 14 years for my, and my brother's education; moved in when I was 2. I still remember the first day clearly, I don't know how. But, even though we've been in the same city, it hasn't been the same house all these years. We used to move, like, every three years. Then we came to this house that I was insisting on checking out. It had a huge open balcony with a clear and large view of the sky, and almost the whole neighbourhood. I fell in love with it the very first moment I stepped into it. Turned out to be on sale, and we moved in. For the past 7 years, I've lived here - a place I can finally call home. I've met friends whom I'll remember for the rest of my life, made enemies and rivals, had the greatest moments of my life, and at point nearly killed myself out of depression. It had started to feel like we were done moving at last. It felt like I had a home. Me and my friends have so many precious memories, of times both of glory and despair. We are as close as siblings. We have gone through so much together. After college, we all will be going into different walks of life. It just tears me up thinking that one day not too far, I'll be having my last moments here, with them perhaps just as if it was any other day. But who knows? Maybe one day, years into the future, I will be walking these same streets again, looking out the same balconies and windows, standing under the same stars, watching kids play while I reminisce and cherish my own time with the place I call home.

a while ago I stopped playing the game (when the little prince season exactly). I stopped because it wasn't as fulfilling as before and I found forcing myself to go candle running and doing the tasks for candles to buy the cosmetics and all these types of things. Even though the little prince was a beautiful season (and also my favourite book) I felt that I didn't enjoy it as much as before so I decided that is best to stop and maybe later come back. I still have the app on my phone waiting for the time that I will like to reconnect with this magical world. The time to get lost again in these beautiful landscapes and listen to the beautiful soundtrack. I sometimes come back to this video to remember the joy of playing with the friends I made there. I hope that if I get back they will be still there waiting for me with their open hands. TGC, thank you for making this beautiful game. You sure have saved a lot of lives an made people happy to be alive. Thanks again.
