I work for Hobby Lobby, and we hear all the time that our fabric dept has more than Joanne's and it's better quality. I was a little shocked because I always thought Joannes Fabrics was a great store with lots of choices. I'm no sewer, though... we do now have a nice Kitchen dept as well as the Textiles, which has some really great stuff! Lots of choices!

Hi Amy! Wow your store is much larger and have more sections than mine in my area. I have not been in our store since before Christmas but we did not have the lovely bedding and bath section. My store had a tiny section if a few bath pieces but nothing like yours. My goal.this year is to not buy anything new. I am decluttering as at my age I don't need anything. Lol wish me luck on not buying! But thank you for taking us along to browse.

I tend to skip the bedding department. I find some of the prices even@ 50% off are expensive for my taste. I tend to do more of the seasonal items. I enjoyed the bathroom section. Frankly i don't use pillows on my sofa or chairs. I do on my bed, but I don't go overboard. Loved the smaller lamps. thanks for sharing.

Hello Amy; thank you for the HL tour. I do love HL however not their pillow section. I will never purchase a pillow from them again. It only lasted a little while before it totally became like mush! It was not a true pillow form but a "wad" of stuffing. I do hope to see them one day get better quality like Kirklands

Not sure how true this is but I heard HL sells these kinds of things because they bought Bed Bath and Beyond’s stock. The timing of when they made the change adds up. Their goods have similar quality.!

I bought the sage green queen sheet set. I love how it feels and that it has elastic at the corners of the fitted sheet to help keep the sheet in place, but... after washing it the second time, some of the color faded out leaving me with yellow/gold blotches 😢. I still use them, but I was disappointed. (Yes, I washed according to directions.)

Wondering what is up with Hobby Lobby? Are they doing away with most of their craft selections? I also noticed that they reduced the number of frames. My store used to have three aisles of frames and now only has one and a half. They haven’t restocked many of the craft paints since before October. Lots of empty shelves. The silk flowers are very sparse. Noticed they have less Valentine stuff this year too. Anyone else notice this at their store?

Hobby Lobby used to be my favorite craft store but they have cut way down on their craft supplies and turned it into a big Home Goods or Target. If I want sheets or area rugs I'll go straight to Home Goods, not Hobby Lobby. I'm very disappointed in it.
