What are your thoughts on prospect Cade Horton? Also, will Taj Bradley rebound in 2024? He was disappointing in 2023, like a lot of rookie pitchers are.

Horton is definitely worth keeping an eye on. He made my top-12 pitching prospects list earlier this offseason. I don't expect him to be up until mid-summer at earliest, though. Things could always change but the Imanaga signing filled a hole and Wicks will probably be in the rotation.

Woo has had two TJS. I'd be very careful what you pay for him. Also Seattle tends to go with a 6 man rotation. Kutter Crawford scares me. I see a mid 4 ERA.

So tired of hearing about how Imanaga's stuff may not translate because "his fastball is around 92". Check the average velocities and spin rates for left handers, and he's on average velo with an elite spin rate.

In the WBC last year he had the highest Stuff+ of any pitcher including Yamamoto. He is legit

Secret: no one really knows anything. Not scouts, not KZbinrs, not fans. It’s all educated guesses to varying degrees. My advise is learn to separate feelings from facts. Fans have feelings, and people who want to win money playing fantasy like facts. If you play fantasy with feelings, you probably won’t make the playoffs. He might be great, he might be crap. Won’t really know where he ends up until he gets there but before the 1st season, ain’t it. Good luck to your cubs! I like what they’ve put together minus pitching, that’s still meh.

It’s also why I love fantasy baseball so much, unlike football, every year in baseball is a little different for players. Guys can pop off one year and next year fall flat. Especially the minors/first year players you’re gambling on their success. I only do dynasty keeper leagues as I like to hold onto certain players. So I guess I’ll retract my feelings statement as I love Gunnar and have him on both teams so maybe a mixture of feelings and facts will hopefully bring success but I do think you shouldn’t take so seriously what these KZbin dopes think. They’re really guessing.
