Great list. I got a bottle of Evan Williams 1783 and shortly afterwards tried the EW BIB, I am now a fan of the BIB. Old Forester 1897 is my favorite whiskey row bottle next to 1920.

Four Roses is one of my favorites. I really like the Single Barrel and the Small Batch Select. And of course the OBSF and OBSQ are great!

lots of great bottles. Agree on Still Austin, Nancy Fraley does all the blends for them, that is why they are so good. have not had hard truth yet. I really enjoy blue note juke joint store picks. always a great pour for the price. cheers

Just bought a wine fridge. Was able to taste Still Austin red corn, it’s good. A Buddy grabbed me one in Florida, on the shelf. Found a 13th Colony Cask Bourbon on the shelf today in the ATL excited to try it! Cheers

Sagamore Spirits ryes ... they're just sitting there and they're all good. The double oak is a little pricey I guess, but its worth the asking price.

I am not a huge fan of old forester products. I know roast me however the bottled in bond 1887 is a great pour! Probably my favorite product from them.

I won’t spend 50 on the BIB again. Do yourself a favor and buy the classic 100pf that’s under 30 and tell yourself that it’s not as good, if not better than that 1897. The 100pf rye is great too.

For me, the most underrated whiskey in today's market is Maker's Mark Cask Strength. It doesn't get near enough love. I love Larceny Barrel Proof, but I like MMCS better than most LBP batches.

A lot of these, we just don't see in Oregon. I just got the Woodford Wheat, really good. I think Bernheim (7 yr $29) and their Barrel Proofs are overlooked. Tumblin' Dice SB's are excellent. Bull Run is putting out good stuff. Trails End 10 year is probably my #1 hidden gem as of now.

Out of the four generally available offerings from Four Roses (Yellow Label, Small Batch, Single Barrel 100, Small Batch Select), it sounds like the only one you guys don't like (SBS) is the only one I *DO* like. I guess that confirms that it is definitely different from the other three.

I wish that i could find that sherry finished New Riff malted rye since I really enjoy the standard 6 year version. But that bottle never popped up in my area. Even the standard 6 year took forever to show up.

I visit a lot of liquor stores within a fairly short radius of my home, and I often see bottles of 13th Colony on the shelves. And because I've heard and read so much about it, I always spend time examining one or two bottles. But, at the end of the day, I never buy one because of the shape of those bottles. I just don't have room for them on my whiskey shelf. Bottom line. And dammit, they should be aware of that issue by now and do something to rectify it.

So talking about 1987 we have never said it was bad. It has made other videos as well like our favorite BiB, I think it made a Spring whiskey video etc. But in regards to the Old Forester list you are correct it didn't make the top ten because we just like 10 other Old Forester products more.

LOL I was with you until you brought out 13th colony regular bourbon. For $40 dollars it’s not cheap at all… legitimately a rip off at the price considering how many other bourbons are SO much better for the price. Give me regular old forester signature 100 10/10 times and it’s about 10x better. I’m convinced whiskey tubers are getting paid to say 13th colony is good. If it’s even 3 years old I’d be shocked.
