After viewing a few of these Sigma Male videos, I realize what made me develop into a Sigma Male. I was raised in a highly dysfunctional family where my parents had no idea how to raise children properly. When my parents weren't beating me for defying them, they ignored me. I had to fend for myself at an early age. I learned all of the skills required to be self-sufficient by the time I was 17 and I left their chaotic home. I have been self-sufficient ever since.

Since I grew up as a foster child dealing with all kinds of narcissistic abuse, exploitation, and dysfunction, I sometimes wondered if my personality and drive would be different if I was actually raised up in a more supportive and sophisticated family structure. Now, I feel like I've spent my entire life fighting with both hands tied behind my back. And since that feeling reminds me of all of the toxicity which I had to struggle through all alone, the feeling is like overcoming learned helplessness and arrested development. But I feel more disappointed and disgusted in everyone who I think exploited me in my ignorance.

I have actually come to the same conclusion. I was thinking that myself. I feel disappointed that the people I thought actually had my back only seem to have my back when it matters to them. Though on the flip side it is, in a way, freeing to know you're the most logical person in your life and your judgement is sound. It's disappointing and honestly a bit horrifying, but it is freeing to know you actually had the insight you thought you did.

I am fortunate to be blessed with all of the 19 gifts of sigmas brought out in this video. Thanks for putting the qualities so clearly described and identified. It took me decades of learning and spending more time with self, regular deep introspection, thinking, auto-didacticism and experimentation with the unknown and unpredictable world to reach here. Extensive research and learning in Stoicism, Philosophy, theism and love for God are the only support and inspiration I ever got and will ever need. I wish I could share my learning to help others to make the best of their lives, regardless of their age and stage of life.

This is honestly so accurate, I am exactly like all of this and even consider myself an Empath. I even do the things it says where if I am in an argument with someone I'll consider their ability to hear a different perspective than their own and maybe be highly defensive or get angry hearing my point of view and maybe finding out they are actually wrong. And ill sometimes realize that literally just ending the argument and let them keep doing whatever, because being actually right in the argument is not worth the effort than just letting them win. I don't need validation so I actually am ok with letting them think they are right if they can't handle a different outcome emotionally which happens so often.

There seems to be no videos on KZbin about Sigma males yet that may explain how such a person may behave when he is faced with a block that is so fundamental and so persistent that it directly challenges the natural tendencies of the Sigma male and has an equal impact to affect his central personality. A key example is a birth defect that causes single-sided deafness in a way that forces him to second-guess every experience before responding or acting on it, has a direct impact on his ability to remember things easily, and the fact that it is often easier to interact with people having a different native language than his own. Having to deal with such persistent challenges from before the day of his birth without losing what makes a Sigma male that is the real test of his person. Once he realizes this, he can only improve in every aspect in an increasing rate more than before. Understanding these distinctions and embracing them with authenticity is key to becoming the man he is meant to be.
