Thanks for showing the cards in this market area. First time seeing this place. Most KZbinrs just go to the main card stores in Akihabara.

Ummm this isn't really hidden Matt. It's world famous as the place to go for electronics components and gear. Every Electronics Otaku like me knows about it. I spent half a day there in 1999 😆

Hey Edward :) I understand what you mean. However, when I was searching for a title for this video, I thought about 2 things. 1) Do most people know this place? - Mostly no. The vast majority of people coming to Akihabara don't know this market. I have friends who are kinda otaku living in Tokyo for more than 10 years and they don't know it :) Like you said, electronics otakus know about it, but not the general public. 2) Is it in plain sight? Can people easily find it? - No, they can't. Usually people randomly and unintentionally come across the market. That's why I thought maybe I could use "hidden" in the title. But I'm def open to other suggestions :) And damn 1999!! is a looong time ago haha

@@MattFinds It was much harder to find info online in 99' but I still found it. There was an awesome neon Angler Fish at the front where the Yaesu/walkie talkie sign is now. Akihabara in 99 was primarily retail Electronics & PC's not Anime. I think it's changed a LOT since online shopping became a thing. If you look at the history of Akihabara, you'd see that the market was one of the first places in the area to bring in customers for electronics after WW2. It was the heart of the district. Thanks for your detailed response...
