Sarah Zimmerli imho SM must be paid him well, bcs he stayed pretty long time in SM and he started from "only" dancers now into choreographers team along with beatburger's jaewon and mihawk back ( SM's perfomance directors). Plus, SM give pretty big authority to him, he's in charge of taking care EXO's choreo, and part of BoA&TVXQ's official dance team (literally you are in the A team if SM put you into BoA&TVXQ's team). SM also give him pretty big freedom bcs he travels overseas alot to hold workshop, either with or without mihawkback.
