Casey and I head into the backwoods of Central Alabama following a local legend of a deep still site! What we find along the way is possibly one of the most fun adventurers we have ever been on! Abandoned and forgotten history!

Even as rough as that '55 is someone would restore it. Hardtop Bel Air's are extremely collectible. Some restorers bring them back from little more than a Vehicle Identification number. Great video!

With the price of collectible cars these days restorers are just looking for just enough to build onto. If it has a Vin plate it’s game. Somebody would definitely drag that Chevy and that Dodge out of there.

So the dodge truck is a post WW2 military truck. With it originally being olive drab with white markings it is probably US Army. In those era of vehicles, WW2 and post WW2 the number on the hood is not a serial number. When the military ordered vehicles their were lot numbers of an order received from the manufacturer when it was accepted by the military. This number allowed the military to keep track of the lot they received. Individual vehicles numbers were typically stenciled on the bumpers.

Went to check condition on some parts for my '67 chevy pickup resto before buying new ones and someone had taken all three of the parts trucks I had stored out there.
