That’s a very efficient way to make the covered paper clips! I always like the ones that are covered on both sides! I made some quite a long time ago that Luise Heinzl -Junk Journal Art showed how using her ocean themed paper. They were quite easy too, you just slide a small piece of paper in between the parts and fold the right side over the paper clip and then fold the left edge over the first paper and glue together (you leave a tiny bit of the paper clip showing at the end. Then you turn the paper clip over and repeat on that side. Now you can pop on a bead dangle onto the bit of paper clip showing. Depending on the paper you used , you could be done there. But her paper had some very cute tiny little flowers that I cut out and glued on along with some small beads etc. They came out so cute that I put an earring hook on the end opposite the dangle and made them into earrings! My friends all loved them and so do I!! They are just a little bit wider than the paper clip that you used and each side is wrapped in paper. I think you could decorate them in all sorts of ways to make them your own! Just thought you might like that idea too! Luise has a great channel but I am just not as grungy as she is. Thank you for this new idea too even though these may be too big for earrings!!🙃🙃🙃

P.S. I forgot that to make the earrings, I only wrapped the paper around both sides of the paper clip at once so it was no longer useable as a paper clip.. but it was an earring instead!!😊

I have a tip for you keeping your tape from sticking onto itself. Use a plastic clip from bread wrappers and never struggle finding the end again. Just remember to reset the clip before you cut it off.

I extend the paper clips and cut a slit where the fit on the crease and then I glue them in with the paper. After they have dried I put either a cord with beads on the ends or just some ribbon, that way you have something to grab to put it off the paper.

Now those are the covered paperclips I have made. I sometimes cut a slot in the top paper and leave a tiny bit of the clip sticking out and attach dangly things. Also can be fun if you make them a bit wider and longer and pop a pocket on the bottom with a tag in :) The edge of your tape being fluffy...was like looking at my own! lol. Mind you it didn't help that my little boy cat is obsessed with box's and craft equipment and I have found him sleeping on top of them in there box. Ohh, got that Toffee Crunch ink at last! Oh my! New favorite right there! That lace you used with the sunflower cluster, any idea were you got it, I've got a hankering for that! lol

Ooo you've thrown some faulous ideas at me there Jane. they are definitely on my to do list, thank you so much😊😁💜 Aren't cats fabulous, mine loves sleeping on cardboard and her bed is an A4 Amazon box . the lace, it was from ali express and cheap as chips, i'll hunt it down if you don't manage it first, but in the meantime i'll send you some. It is more yellowy than it looks in the pictures, but still lovely. Didn't have room for much extra in your last order, i'd printed everything out including the postage label before i realised it was you😅😁💜

Tim Holtz made a live video last Saturday about that gray cling stuff. In his video, he showed how to stamp and die cut things like those tickets easily. I was amazed. I tried it without the cling mat (that’s not the real name). I tried it a way that Jennifer McGuire made it

Sorry, hit the wrong button. Anyway, she laid out the dies on a thick piece of card-stock. Cut them out. Put the sheet in her misty, fitted the stamps in the holes, picked up the stamps with the lid of the misty, then put the cut out pieces in the holes and stamped it. And Bob’s your uncle. They are stamped. And you just keep the sheet in the misty, keep cutting out the tickets and then stamping them. Are you totally confused? Crikey Molly, I don’t blame you. And if you get this new grip mat thingee, it holds them in place. I am going to order one, I think. I love his tickets and I just got the set. The ones I got on Etsy are,I got of pitiful. 😂😅 No I'm not confused, I totally get it. I did watch Timmy and was like, how is this different from a poundland silicone baking sheet, cos the Poundland ones are really thin, too thin for baking. Poor Timmy, you could tell he wasn't really on board with it. I love Jennifer Maguire. She is responsible for my stash of lawn fawn dies and stamps😁 Her craft room frightens me though.
