In my headcanon, in the world of Bluey, dingoes represent the Aboriginal people because they are the only canids suited to represent this rich community. Integrating stories from the Dreamtime and other Aboriginal legends, beautifully depicted through traditional Aboriginal art and animation, would offer an artistic and educational masterpiece for the show. My concern lies in the fact that, despite being set in Australia, Bluey has not yet to showcase any elements from the Aboriginal community, not even the most iconic symbols and objects like boomerang, didgeridoo and so on. This absence raises valid worries about the portrayal of colonial narratives, which may be interpreted as dismissive or even racist.
