For Metroid Prime 4: BEYOND to look that damn good on 10 year old hardware, on a tegra X1 chip is insane and I find that more impressive than what we're getting on the other platforms with hardware that is that much more capable... it goes to show that Retro Studios are in a league of their own and are pushing base Switch to it's absolute limits w/ this game and I can only imagine how impressive the Switch 2 version will be if the Switch 1 version looks that good and runs @ 60fps! It's ridiculous.. my most anticipated game by far right after Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom...

Power has nothing to do with architectural and engine advantages though. Tegra uses Maxwell is about a GeForce 800m which is about the same or slightly more advanced than the GCN2 in the PS4 which is about a Radeon HD 7000. The power is there to do heavy lifting not graphics level.

The menu where the missiles are is probably gonna work like this: Hold the dpad direction for the missile and use the right stick to select which kind of missiles you want from a secondary wheel menu that pops up.

My theorie is that the d pad could still be for the beam but you need to touch an extra bouton to change (zr for exemple ) also we probably gonna go trough portail by looking at the forest zone at the en of the reveal

idk I just don't see anything in this trailer that looks genuinely cool or interesting. graphics look like a 15 yr old halo game and the gameplay looks like a mobile game. Really hope Nintendo is holding back a lot of information about the gameplay loop in this cuz as of now im just confused why they spent so much time making something so mid
