Exactly. I had a dream job but people around me said it's impossible to do a living with that job so I picked another college to find a "proper" job and earn better money but I regret it now. I wish someone told me to follow my dreams. I'm pretty sure I could live with less salary but at least I would be happier. Happiness or money? I pick happiness.

@@mcatlover i used to lived in the life like this before. Even after i was in my past college. But, than, it's just give me lot of pressure and giving me a mental breakdown. And when covid came, it gives me lots of time to think about myself again. And i turns out choosing to drop out from my college and enter the better major that suit me more. It makes me happy because all of my pressure and overthinking decreased so much. And my mental health going better than before P.s: sorry for my bad english hehehe

Only thing is the last sentence, "And" should be "Now" and "going" should be "is doing" because "And" is a conjuction so you cant start a sentence with it although its okay since this is just the internet :) The "than before" also is not neccessary its fine to include but it makes the sentence read a little weird :)

I think it depends on culture and family. For me the moment I became an adult legally it was much more different then from my teenage years. I had to work a full job instead of part time, lived alone due to studying in collage (the rent was paid by my parents but everything else was on me), had to manage my own money (buying food, clothes, paying collage monthly, bills) and what was sent to me, basically I had to be much smarter and wiser in my decisions because there was no adult to clean my mess anymore... No one cared for my tantrums lol, or if I was sick (or if I remotely lived a healthy lifestyle)... As a teen you are still in a way shielded and taken care of, maybe even more as your parents don't you to make big mistakes. But as an adult, it's all on you.

True, there is a bit of maturity difference tho. Especially younger teens like 13-16. Seventeen isn’t too much of a difference but there’s still a lot you don’t know or fully understand the way a 20+ year old would.

It's actually interesting about the alcohol part, like as you said you need to be 20 to drink in South Korea. But where I am from we can drink when we are 18 (but can't buy it until we are 20-21).
