As a fishing enthusiast in Australia, it still amazes me how your sewer systems are still clean enough to hold such a variety of beautiful & sometimes exotic fish 🥲
@TheQuinis Жыл бұрын
In Japan, a lot of smaller natural rivers and creeks have actually had these walls and bases built around them like this in order to both prevent them from shifting over time and preserve them, and in some regions in order to more easily provide channels and canals for irrigation to rice fields in the surrounding areas. It's more likely that this is one such river that has been funneled into a constructed path than a sewer system, in my opinion! There's a river quite near me that's been built up like this for the portion of it that runs through the farming town I live in. Given that Japan is such a mountainous collection of islands (and therefore has a lot of rivers), and the population centers are fairly concentrated, a lot of rivers that would flow through a city or town are protected in this way so that things can be built very close to them without danger to the buildings' foundations from shifting water pathways. Sometimes grey-water is still piped out into these rivers to flow away, but waste usually isn't, so I don't know if sewer system quite fits.

As a fisherman who lives in Australia it amazes me how people are able to go in the water without being chomped by a crocodile
I actually enjoyed seeing the casts attempts. The transparency on how not every cast is a perfect one is something a lot of other fishing channels do not show. AMAZING CONTENT FROM ONE FISHERMEN TO ANOTHER! 🇺🇸

Man those are some great shots and awesome editing! From the sides and even underwater! The way you treated your catch easily puts me to shame! Soo very well done👍🔥
I LOVE that you keep them in a tank whilst you measure them, shows you love the fish as well.

Ah yes. The natural “do I want it, do I want it…. Nah but I’ll keep chasing it as if I’m interested” trout move. Big fan of trout fishing and this was just incredible. Thank you!

The way you fish, they way you record it, they way you presented it to us is epic, no unnecessary music or any other sound, just a little drop sound is more than enough, the way you edit the video is super nice..... I learn a lot from this video alone, subscribed for future learning sessions

you underestimate the post production and VFX done there. This is over-produced and over-designed. yea - no dumb stock rock music when he hooks the fish, he preferred glitchy dnb.

I like the little edits you did here. The action words, the sound effects, the location cursor, etc. It's like a game! Awesome man! Subscribed!
Casting a lure this size is different from casting a fly. You have to put it well past where you think the fish are, then reel it in through the target zone. A relatively small fish in relatively shallow water will spook if something that large falls directly above. Beautiful fish, btw. I wish comparable water in built environments in the US supported char and trout.
@Tony-ow3if2 жыл бұрын
I totally agree....casting further into the shade..and to add, the lute is too bright - all resulting in way too much casting
@chucknasty80902 жыл бұрын
Comprable waters in the us do support trout…just gotta know where to look
Well done. A nice reminder that I don't do enough of this type of fishing. That cherry trout is a beautiful specimen. Thank you for bringing us along.

I am by no means an expert, but maybe a similarly profiled weightless lure with a worm offset hook would have worked aswell in this situation? This lure seems to leave the strike zone very quickly. As opposed to the unnatural presentation of a dropshot which stays way longer, a weightless presentation would allow for more controlled movements, no? Would love to hear anyones thoughts on this.

Sorry I missed your vid when it aired, but that was amazing to watch. Love the degree of difficulty rings with the close quarters, being a righty also I would have just moved the camera and casted right, well done...I rate this one 10 out 10!

These Canals in the US, at least, have been treated with harsh chemicals and although the fishing is awesome, nobody should digest those harmful chemicals.

@@libtard.4844 Fish stomachs specifically in trout are pretty strong. A fish and game warden (The Police of the fishing world in the US) said don't worry to much since they digest it. However if the fish is bleeding a lot when you catch it it will die if you let it go and it's best to keep it.

I woulda swapped to a float bait rig a log time ago I've literally never seen anyone catch any species of trout on a swimmer lure kudos. but I have to know, when you shiki-shiki-shake before you cast is that for you or the fish? I only ask because I find myself doing a sort of fly-motion when I cast in tight spaces like you were fishing in and overhand cast won't work. just impressed by your ability to pitch out the lure with 0 line out lol I'll have to try that sometime
