Hidden Voices - Altitude

I proudly present the second single of my upcoming album "Across The Border". In Peru we went through a mountain pass that was 3 days long. On day two the dynamics in the group were getting more intense and eventually I got overrun with homesickness. Because we were deep in the mountains, leaving or anything similar was out of the question.
On the final day we had to climb a mountain to complete our pass. On this mountain I picked myself back up again and conquered my burning desire to be alone. The climb was tough and since it started at 2500m above sea level, altitude sickness was something we had to take into account.
Altitude resembles my climb up this mountain. You hear rocky drums and eerie vocals that sound like you could be lost in the mountains, which is exactly how it felt.
In the middle of the track euphoric chords come in. This resembles the altitude sickness you can have when climbing a mountain at such heights. They feel euphoric but also have a good dose of insanity infused into them.
