Hello Dave, need to ask you a couple of Q's via PM. How to reach out to you privately?

So the Gatekeeper does not replace the factory radiator lower mount, it bolts over the top of it?
@lowemountainadventures4 жыл бұрын
charlie dee that is correct. But it’s super beefy. I can’t count the number of times I smashed it and it hasn’t even budged. If you check hkoffroads KZbin you can see some of the r&r he has done on it.
@charliedee92764 жыл бұрын
@@lowemountainadventures Yeah, I checked it out after the comment. I don't know why I thought it replaced it. I do like their stuff, I have a set of rocker rails from him I have yet to install. Mine are crumpled and rusted away, I like that his replace that part completely.

Yea bash makes some killer products. Can’t wait for his rear bumper release. The glissade rock sliders are one hell of a product as well. My whole Jeep is sitting on jack stands right now and the stands are on the sliders.

@@lowemountainadventures Yeah he does. After I get the rockers on the hidden winch mount is next.

I saw you have what looks like rubber mount under your rad. I replaced mine and notice it wobbles now because there’s only two stupid mounting holes for the rad. What did you use to get the wobble out?
@lowemountainadventures3 жыл бұрын
Those are the original rubber bushings. And it fits in pretty snuggly still. Jeep has just under 200k on it as well. I’m not really sure how to deal with the wobble as I haven’t had that issue yet. Did you replace the rad and the bushings at the same time? Where did you get the bushings from? Also there may differences in the 4.0 and 4.7 bushings so maybe that could be it too?
@mountainmanmcbeachfront52963 жыл бұрын
@@lowemountainadventures 4.0 used old bushings. Some no name brand radiator so maybe that’s why it wobbles, but I just stuck some foam in between the bottom of rad and the crossmember, works 4.2% better so trying to find something else, maybe jamming a rubber exhaust hanger mount thing in there might work idk
@lowemountainadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@mountainmanmcbeachfront5296 yea that could very well be the issue. Maybe the mounting pegs on the new rad isn’t the same thickness as the factory radiator.

Do you think at badlands 12k winch will fit in there?

Absolutely, no problem at all.

I saw the video about cutting out the front frame but couldn't find an install video for the hidden winch mount. Is there wielding involved when installing the hidden winch mount? I want a winch but don't want to get aftermarket heavy bumpers.

No welding required. It' bolts up after you cout out the center section. We have detailed instructions in a PDF file we email over
