The thing I really hate is that probably the reason why people don't talk about this is because sites like ANN kept comparing this to Danganronpa, saying it's just a "poorly written imitation", despite the fact that the two series are nothing alike outside of being game being hosted by a mascot-type character.

nyone starting anime, I beg you to read the manga. A lot of scenes and dialogues were cut so we miss interesting and frightening information (Paca burning bodies, for example) and characters . Check the manga and see all of this and more, please. Plus with the way things turned out in the newest chapter.. god i was shocked. a lot of you questioning akatski watch it i don't wanna spoil anything but yeah its crazy

in the one's within to be honest it's worst quality which is somehow good in my opinion is how it can literally make me feel uncomfortable which is bad but then you realize that it's making you feel a discrete emotion that most animes don't this anime is a wild ride and I recommend it.

It is! The manga that it's based on is pretty good too. The anime is a fairly faithful adaptation with exception to a few parts, which is a plus for fans that came from there first.
