I’m so glad you save some meat on the bones for your dogs. They deserve more than a sterile bone to chew on. So good for them! Raw diet is ideal in an ideal world. Way to go entire family! ❤ Can’t imagine a wolf waiting for the meat to be cooked or eggs. Go Kevin. Those dogs will live a long time eating an animal appropriate diet. ❤

Moorehead Homestead and the other channels that you did the youth hunt with said to come check out your channel. Your dogs are looking great. The Great Pyrenees is absolutely gorgeous. I'm not sure what kind of dogs the other two were. They all looked very healthy and loved. That was the chest little kitty. My boys loved seeing your emus. Great video. I hit the subscribe button. We feed our cat uncooked meat and eggs as well. She loves it. I'm sure the dogs enjoyed their raw meat and eggs as much as she does. I agree they do need the raw meat in their diet. Those were some nice turkeys. Deer season hasn't started here yet, my son is a little jealous.😅

You take good care of your animals and i was thrilled that you took the innards home for the babies. These know it alls haven't grown up with the knowledge that has been passed down to us. My father grew up in during the great depression and dust bowl. They ate a lot of fish and cornbread guess what the dogs also ate the same thing and the cows ate leaves from chopped down trees. Dad didn't have to clean the fish he caught cause grandma was afraid he wouldn't bring them home if he had to clean them. So ignore those people you keep doing you Kevin.

Deer hunting fun hunting and years of reliving the hunt. I loved eating wild game growing up. Deer, rabbit, squirrels, grouse. We lived in the hills of Pennsylvania where hunting and fishing were a way of life. The first day of deer season was a holiday. Businesses were closed and even school was closed. My Dad always got a buck on the first day because where we lived it was really secluded more so than you folks.

Well, I hunted in Idaho. We rode horseback at least 3 miles straight up the mountain in the dark. Tied the horses up with halters, removed saddles, grabbed guns and backpacks and at first light started hunting. It was side hill, hard hiking carrying a rifle and gear. Then if lucky, you saw a big mule deer buck in reasonable shooting distance (100 to 200 yards). Good shot. Deer down. Get it field dressed, drag to a tree, rope it up. Strip off the hide, wash the carcass down with vinegar, bag it up. Go back for a horse, load the carcass into deer bags and lead the horse down the mountain to camp and find a cold, shady place (40 degrees) to hang the carcass. Unsaddle the horses, cook over a campfire, sleep in a tent. In a couple of days if all tags filled, drive back to town (100 miles), butcher carcass, wrap meat for freezer. Not quite the luxurious blinds on private property with transport vehicles parked 200 yards away where you can load up your harvest, drive home that night and sleep in your own bed. Different strokes and the meat always tastes great regardless of the style that gets those little white packages into the freezer. Our dogs loved the left-overs as well. Just sayin'.

If yoshi and Yonex breed and have babies, you could always harvest their meat. My cousin used to do that. She said the meat tasted like steak. I was given an egg from her breeding pair, and it fed my family of 6. I made about 12 sausage burritos with one emu egg. The egg is very rich and maybe a bit bitter, but since I was told that to start with, I mixed it with milk, season salt, salt, and pepper. Along with onions, green peppers, sausage and rolled about 12 burritos.

I'd be making bone broth and freeze drying it! Nothing wasted that way for sure! I'm Blackfoot, but was lied to by the Canadian Government and told I was Cherokee. Birth father corrected that immediately upon meeting him. I actually learned Tsalagi and went through a naming ceremony before I found my birth father. So I've a Tsalagi (Cherokee) name even though I'm Blackfoot. ❤KanogisdiWaya (SongWolf)

Hey Kevin, this is deer mating season in Maryland when is your 's. I don't think you're allowed to hunt then. But then again, I don't hunt. I have them in my back yard and I live in a residential neighborhood. House's aren't too close, but close enough I guess. Feed your animals what you think is best. Remember we are humans and have opinions. I know as a retired veterinarian technician some bones can splinter & that can cause some big problems. Injure the colon and the dog can suffer fecal impactions. Painful. Just be careful. Great video again. Good luck with the hunting. May the Lord continue to Bless you and your family and friends and your critters. 🙏🙏🙏 Peace 🕊️ and Love from Maryland 💕❤

You are 100% right, Kevin! What you fed your animals is what they were designed and created to eat. It's called GODS PROVISIONS and food chain! God provided for us AND the animals. I have a friend and she takes "not wasting" seriously, and sees her hunting as provisions for ALL! She feeds her Dogs what her family eats. (Meats, Veggies) EVERY meal (No she doesn't cook her meats first, she makes sure it's fresh, but, no she doesn't cook her meats or eggs) and her dogs live longer than any animals I have ever seen, (I'm not kidding) and their quality of life is absolutely AMAZING. It's almost like they age much slower, they are mentally SUPER alert, focused, less injuries, WAY Less sickness and they literally thrive for MANY years. and I do mean MANY years. Your and Rachel's hearts for your family and animals are absolutely inspiring and beautiful to see. You INVEST in them where most would find it easier to open a bag scoop out and go about their day. I appreciate you guys. I appreciate the messages you're sharing. It's responsibility! It's caring for what GOD has given us charge over and it matters to HIM too! You inspire me to be a better care giver of what God has blessed me to care for. And I THANK YOU for that! I have to tell you, Baby girl smiles and I catch myself smiling back at her, even in video. Thank you for sharing your heart memories with us too! God Bless you guys, in abundance, pressed down, Shaken together and running over, in Jesus Name.
