Certainly not to take anything away from Rachel, but I used to carry 50 lb. bags of softener salt upstairs to the equipment room for the water softener that fed the boilers. I was a Plsnt Operations & Maintenance Engineer fairer Hospital for 20 years. 3rd woman in California to do it. Had to pass a qualifying test to get into the 4 yr. apprenticeship program. I passed 29th out of over 2000 people - all men. 1978.

I like to see that you’re using Diamond feed for your canines!! I used it for my 2nd Border Collie, her entire adult life, and she lived longer than any medium breed dog I’ve ever had. Great job guys!! That’s awesome that your wife just jumps right in there & helps however she can. Lifting those 50# bags of feed.

Kevin, that was a good idea not to put the creep feeder quite so close to the puppy pen, to prevent goats from jumping from one to the other. I thought it was so funny how the adult goats wanted to get to the food in the creep feeder, AFTER you had just fed them in the barn! They are so greedy! It was good to see some of the kid goats going inside to eat from the feeder. The others will follow soon enough. I liked seeing Kyah out helping you and Rachel. Kyah was so cute wanting to try and lift a 50lb sack of feed. She just doesn't realize how heavy that is! Eventually, in a few more years, Kyah will get old enough to be able to do that. I am sure that Kaleb could probably do it now. As always, it is good seeing Mojo, Leeske, Kora, Skeeter, and Smeegle in the videos, as well as Yoshi and Yoneg. That was fun to see the emus eating in slow motion. I'm glad you're taking Miss Kora to the vet about her limping. I am hoping it is something minor, and that she will be back to herself again soon! I see Smeegle is supervising.. animals are definitely smarter than they’re given credit for..my husband’s horse used to mouth open the clasp on our feed bin.. we finally had to padlock the darn thing.. my husband said he’d leave the key there too, but, Suger would probably figure out how to use the key!😂It was a wonder the crazy thing didn’t founder himself.. Hey Kevin & Rach for Cora you can feed her beef broth made from beef bones you can get from the butcher. Give her the bone marrow as well I think that would do wonders for her hips, legs and feet (paws) I know I said something about this in another video but the collagen does wonders for joints and ligaments and feet plus many other things. I’m definitely by no means telling y’all what to do I would never do that just I know it helps my dogs a lot. I hope y’all find out what is wrong with her foot! Here’s a question for the Vet. Could the medication given to Kora cause birth defects in her embryos? If necessary you could abort the embryos before they are to far developed. It was great seeing the family. Lots of love, Doc❤

Kevin you’re such a hard working guy and I know you enjoy what you do Rachel you look so beautiful and don’t hurt yourself sweetie. You really give so much of yourself and many of your farms’ worrisome problems are not much of a problem for y’all especially the snakes ,lol, remember I always used to tease you about you being the “snake lady” and you’d go toe to tail with a snake. Kevin always pretended or played like he was afraid of the snakes. Kyah is growing up so beautiful and so fast. You all work so hard and developing together and it’s wonderful what y’all do. How is Josh doing with his cancer , the last I talked to him I think he was done with many of his treatments and he seemed so happy to be able to work with the goats again. I hope and pray Kora’s foot problems with her foot and leg she suffers with it she’s so lovely and such a fighter. I hope Leeske has decided to give her a rest. I am sure you know chickens can get & spread coccidia. Just walking where it might be, you can bring into your house, spread to your dogs or cats. Do you treat your chickens?

I am thinking it might be the bigger goats getting into the crepe feeder that are pooping in the trough. Now that only the baby goats can get in and get the food they want & need, the poop in the trough will be a thing of the past. I don't know that for sure, but I do know that the problem with the bigger goats getting in there is now a thing of the past 😉. Just a thought 🤔

The kid goat feeder is way cool and the grands were surprised that the kids had to learn how to eat solid food just like human babies! As an adult… I take for granted the learning processes that come easy to an adult! City kids are fun to watch as they discover and understand where food comes from for the animals as well as humans!
