I miss him. his death was unfair and he was an amazing artist. I wish he was alive, but dead or not, he's one of the most talented people on Earth. hide is my angel !

Would you really make his death any diffrent? It was glamourous no doubt. I mean, I miss him very very much and all, *you must never misunderstand me on this* but he did get the celebrity-beautiful corpse, shouded in a bittersweet mystery. Think about what his career would be like if he was still around today and would he be as popular? As morbid as it sounds, I wouldn't change a thing. Let us remember him as he was when he was the crazy pink haired, uber awexome-guitar-god we all know and love.

i always suspected he was depressed. i guess everyone was so engrossed into his music and fame, no-one noticed HIM. he even said in an interview that he gets depressed if he doens't get out of bed straight away

the thing with depression is..you never know when you're gonna have a 'dip'. plus, he was drunk as hell and alcohol is known to aggravate feelings of depression. besides, it's always the people you least suspect who has depresion. eiher way, we wil never know.

Actually, I'd hate to point things out here but the most likely to be true theory of Hide's death is also the one Yoshiki believes apparently. The band members used to wrap towels around their necks and tie them to doorknobs after concerts to ease muscle pain. Hide in particular was known to have neck troubles. But because he was so intoixicated from drinking he apprently woke up, tried to ease his neck pain but feel asleep in the process and got strangled.. It's all very sad..

yes...maybe he didn't want others to be worried about him so he pretended as the most vivid guy in the team n in front of himself maybe he stored much sadness in him mind in his heart but no one noticed... pata once said that hide's quiet sometimes..em.i think someone like him who takes care about everyone n is responsible would act the same as hide because the dun want to get anyone into trouble in his own problems ALL IN ALL. I THINK HIDE's DEATH IS TOTALLY AN INCIDENT!

I have some sad news to share. A classmate of mine committed suicide on tuesday. She always appeared to me to be a happy-go-lucky person. Guess you can NEVER tell what a person is feeling inside.

No one knows for sure. Alot of people would have you believe it was suicide, but that is so unlikley because what reason was there to do it? Also, Yoshiki doesn't think it was suicide and I'll believe Yoshiki no matter what. All we really do know for sure is that he was drunk, found in his appartment hanged by a towel and a doorknob, and that he was declared dead at 8:52 am on May 2, 1998. Hide, I shall always love you T_T
