I think they meant dirt blocks, but grass blocks aren’t that hard to get. Just get a silk touch shovel or kill an enderman that is holding a grass block.

Idea for the next episode: Steve & Alex come across a village, which has been prepared for a Pillager raid. Steve, idiotically, rings the bell to signal that a raid is approaching multiple times. Eventually, a raid does happen, but since Steve rang the bell so many times, the villagers don’t believe him. They eventually see that the pillagers are coming, and they put up the defences, which are blocks made of emeralds. Steve asks why they made it out of emerald blocks, to which he gets this response: “We _have_ gotten a lot of emeralds from trades, you know. We just used the extra emeralds to build the defences!” The pillagers have a Ravager, though, and they break through the defences with ease. Steve notices that Alex is missing, and a quick cut to Alex shows that she’s hanging out with the scientist. Steve respawns inbetween Alex and the scientist, and Alex asks why Steve’s covered in emeralds. The animation ends with Steve saying this: “Let’s just say that I’m NEVER ringing a bell ever again.”
