Your appliqués are so cute! I’m making a quilt for my husband that is cut from pre-printed photos of squirrels. The directions call for lattice strips with corner stones. It was supposed to go together super fast. The problem is that these photo squares were not printed straight or with the same amount of neutral fabric between them. It was impossible to cut them all the same size. My lattice strip/cornerstone sections don’t match up on some of the intersections, done by as much as 1/4”+!! I’m having to sew in the neural fabric near some of the cornerstones. But I hate the extra seams. Your ideas of covering up these areas with an appliqué will be a good solution for me. Thanks so much!
