I watched this several weeks ago three times. I had to see it again - twice. There is obviously a lot of love between these two. As far a injury or abuse concerns, this dog does not look to be in any pain. In fact quite the opposite. Gin appeared to want to keep on performing/playing. Working dogs live longer, and huskies that pull sleds can live to be 20+ years old. Let's wish Gin and Kate a lot happy life together. Geo

Gin is a dog who loves what she does and the two of them work in perfect harmony. This gal can have a great career working with animals. They lit up that stage. I watch American Idol and it was nice to see Simon surprised and enjoying the performance. Go Gin if you can get him to smile, you got talent!!!

Very, very well done. That dog's physical capabilities(the balance required to walk backwards, etc.) are almost as impressive as the amount of time, work, and love these two put into forming that kind of relationship and Kate's abilities as a trainer!

I used to have a Border Collie that looked exactly like Gin--I always wanted to do a performance like yours but never could because of Multiple Sclerosis. My dog, Dash, used to ride with me on my electric scooter (mobility aid) and she learned many things to help me, including picking up my keys when I dropped them! Beautiful performance and brilliant dog!

one time my dog was looking for a cave or so and he squeezed itself behind the couch and walked to the wall and sticked in between the couch and the wall xD aww that was so cute and he couldn't walk backwards!) but of course i took him out there immedietly) you remembered me on that, thank you!

My wife does dog freestyle so I've seen lots and lots of dogs perform. Gin was w/out a doubt the best I've ever seen. She loves dancing, that's what it takes to be the best. Best of luck to both Gin and Kate.
