On an evening in May, I got a heads up that Conrail Shared Assets local WPCA-51 would be picking up two F units and an RDC from the SRNJ interchange in Winslow, NJ, and bringing them North to Camden for eventual transport to the R&N in Port Clinton, PA. The R&N plans to restore all 3 units to operating condition and use them for both freight and passenger service (well, not the RDC for freight). All three pieces of equipment had sat dormant in Winslow for years, and it was good to see them go to a good home. Leading the train was NS GP38-2's 5277 and 5279. The leader sports a crisp RS3L horn. Special thanks to JD for the heads up, and to the landscaping crew at Magnolia for letting me know I hadn't missed it after cutting it close on my way back from a doctor's appointment as they were on their way.
