HIDEit Man Cave | Best Tips for Wall Mounting Your Devices

We're continuing our warehouse man cave transformation! You've mounted your TVs and it is now time to mount the devices! We're here to show you how to install your mounts, where the best location to mount your gear and a bundle of different tricks to nail down the perfect install!
Tools You'll Need
- Tape Measure
- Level
- Drill
- Pencil
It's now time to start mounting your Devices!
Step 1: Determine Mount Location, Level and Mark Holes
It's time to determine where you're mounting your devices. Since we love the peek-a-boo look, we decided to mount our PS5 barely sticking out with a controller mounted underneath but you can always HIDEit or DISPLAYit.
We mounted the PS5 and Sonos Arc Soundbar in our seating area to create a sleek + cozy movie and gaming corner in our Man Cave.
We VESA mounted our Apple TV behind the TV located by our Pool Table so we can stream our fave streaming services such as Disney+, Hulu, Netflix and we can stream our fave sports games.
Once you've figured out where you want to mount it, mark the holes for the mount.
Step 2: Drill Mounting Holes
Take your drill to create pilot holes for the mount. Our mount has a small footprint and only needs a few holes. Larger mounts might require more holes.
Step 3: Install the Wall Mount
Using the holes you just created, secure the device mount to the wall or VESA mount it to the back of your TV. Use your drill to get started, and use your level to make sure everything is straight. We recommend hand tightening for the final few turns..
Step 4: Slide the Device into the Mount
Now that the wall mount is installed, slide the device into the mount and create your own sleek setup!
